What do you teach at the Y?

I teach Sweat & Tone, Rhythm Spin, Power Spin

What is the best part of being a fitness trainer?

The ability to change lives. Connecting with people and bringing the best out of them by sharing my joy and passion

How do you stay motivated?

By keeping my own fitness routine afloat that includes healthy eating and meditation. The excitement resides mostly in the planning. Always setting new goals is my main key.

What have you learned from Covid-19 in terms of teaching and connecting with members?

To let go of what we can’t control, thus practice resiliency doing your best with what you have. Accept the present, living the moment and being in the now.

Do you have a favourite type of workout? If so what is it and why?

My to go or favorite workout format is HIIT. It’s short, efficient and so good for the body mind and soul. It’s also provides me with an extraordinary burst of new energy. Clears my mind and sets me up for a successful day. Feeling my heart racing, my sweat dripping gives me an amazing high.

What is your favourite new feature/part/equipment at the newly renovated Y? And why?

The new fitness studios are simply amazing, in terms of space, light, colors, and sound system.​
