The Foundation was established in 1975 to provide a solid base of financial support to the YM-YWHA. Under the leadership of founding chairman H.S. (Bud) Weiser z”l, a series of lifetime and memorial fund contributions were established. Additional contributions are made each year.

The mission of the Foundation is to use the annual income derived from investment of our capital base to help the Y enrich the quality of life in our vibrant Montreal Jewish Community.
