LUNCH AND LEARN
The Y, with the generous support of the Morris & Rosalind Goodman Family Foundation is proud to present a four-part Lunch & Learn series for professionals in Montreal’s Jewish community.
Created as an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, the series brings our community’s professionals together to connect, learn, and recharge alongside colleagues who understand the unique opportunities and challenges of working in Jewish communal life.
Every few months, we’ll gather over lunch for a thoughtful conversation exploring a timely topic affecting our community and the broader Jewish world. Expect engaging speakers, meaningful discussions, good food, and the chance to build connections with colleagues from across Montreal’s Jewish community.
The Israeli Political System & Electoral Process
Join us for an engaging Lunch & Learn featuring a special guest speaker as we take a closer look at Israel’s political system and electoral process. We’ll explore how elections unfold, the role political parties play, how seats in the Knesset are determined, and the process of building a coalition and ultimately forming a government.
Whether you’re already familiar with Israeli politics or simply curious to better understand how the system works, this session will offer an accessible overview of the structures and processes that shape Israel’s political landscape.
Please RSVP by Thursday, October 15, to Keren Ludvig: kludvig@ymywha.com
