Y Shapiro Lectures
Wednesday October 22 @ 19:30 - 21:30
The Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA is proud to be the new home of the Shapiro Lecture Series.
A dynamic annual event offering a thought-provoking evening designed to inspire learning and strengthen community connections.
This year’s featured speaker is Leah Goldstein — elite athlete, author, and speaker.
From serving in Israel’s Special Forces as one of the few female instructors of the elite Commando division, specializing in Krav Maga, to becoming a World Kickboxing Champion and the first woman to win the world’s toughest cycling race, her story is one of raw power, relentless spirit, and breaking barriers.
Get ready to be inspired to push limits and unleash your inner strength.
Reservations are required.
Leah Goldstein will be signing books after the event. You can purchase her book “No Limits” here
This event is Free of charge thanks to the support from the Betty and Bernard S. (Z”L) Shapiro Family Endowment.
Doors open at 7:00 PM, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that bags will be checked upon entry, and the Y reserves the right to refuse admission at its discretion.
