Thank you for bringing us this far.
We are excited to announce a new format for our final season of Hockey de Rue, focusing on the kids. This year, Habs alumni will run a youth street hockey clinic at the Y, helping kids in need not only with their technical skills but paving the way for their confidence and well-being. The event will be followed by a VIP Brunch.
Since 2012, Hockey de Rue has brought together communities to raise money with a commitment to promoting the health and wellness of children. Over the years, the event has seen more than 700 games, 3500 players, 700 volunteers, 100 referees, 400 sponsors, thousands of donors, and countless spectators, all dedicated to giving back by providing opportunities for kids to stay active and engaged. The joy and excitement of all involved has made Hockey de Rue an emotionally fulfilling experience for everyone, knowing that the event truly makes a difference in the lives of children.

With the support of our donors and partners, we are able to address the alarming statistic that 93% of Canadian youth are not active enough. We strive to provide opportunities for all children, including those from low-income families who are three times more likely to have never practiced physical activities and organized sports.
We understand that the transition to adolescence can be a challenging time for many youths and that it can lead to a significant drop in sports participation. That’s why we focus on providing a range of activities that cater to different interests and skill levels, to help keep children engaged and motivated to stay active. By promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles, we hope to inspire a new generation of healthy and active Canadians. Your support is vital in helping us achieve our mission, and we thank you for helping us make a positive impact in the lives of children.
