THE NHL’S OFFICIAL YOUTH STREET HOCKEY LEAGUE

The Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA is thrilled to introduce the NHL’s Official Youth Street Hockey League for boys and girls 8 – 14 years old. NHL STREET™ is the official street hockey league of the NHL and the premier youth ball hockey experience in North America. It is designed to provide kids and their families with the best of what youth sports can be: having fun, staying active, making friends, and creating great memories.

When you join NHL STREET™, you can expect a fast-paced game that teaches teamwork, creativity, and resilience. Created with parents in mind, we’re ensuring the pressure, schedules, and costs typically associated with hockey (and other youth sports) are kept in check.

The focus of NHL STREET™ is to have fun, stay fit, and make friends! NHL STREET™ takes place on foot and does not require any experience in skating or ice hockey. Prior hockey knowledge and experience is great, but not required. Basic hockey instruction will be incorporated into the program. Uniforms will have NHL team logos and all goalie gear, balls, nets, will be provided.
